My Beautiful Sister, Stormie

As many of you know, my sister, Stormie passed away on July 10th. As I remember my wonderful and beautiful Sister and all the times we shared, I commit to memory the song "Say" and the message it conveys. "Say what you need to say... You better know that in the end, It's better to say too muchThen never to say what you need to say again."I wish I had taken that last moment that I had with Stormie to tell her how very proud I was of her and how much I love her. I love you Sister.

Mike's Not Far Now...

When I got home from work today, I discovered that Mike had decided that he is not cut out for rural country living and has moved back home. I have heard a rumor that he is still planning on getting his own apartment here, but I will not hold my breath yet! Just Kiddin' Mike!

Michael Has Sprouted Wings

Michael has decided that it was time to sprout & spread his wings! Again! He got a job out of state and has moved out and will soon be on his own. He is staying with a friend until he gets enough pay saved up to get a place of his own. He is a bit restless right now as he doesn't have much to do in his off time, but I am sure he will find something or someone soon!

Softball Season Ends

Our softball season has ended. They went out like Champs.

Monday night was the first night of playoffs. By the way, the playoffs were in a very small community out in the middle of nowhere about 2 hours south of Home.

The first game was at 4:30. We lost 7-2 but then we played a second game at 6 and won it 12-0. We played a 3rd game at 8:15 and won it 10-6. Olivia pitched all 3 games. We got home about 11pm.

The next round was on Tuesday. The first game was at 5. It turned out to be the last game. We lost 21-6. Olivia pitched for 95% of the game. It was a tough call, but the team called it as over at 7:30. The girls were real sportswomen in the end.
