End Of Summer

You can feel it in the air, the Summer is over and the biggest sign is that School has Started!  Olivia is so excited to be going back to school. She is a bit nervous about going to a new school, but She has already made a couple of new friends, so it won't be long until she isn't anxious any more.  Here she is, decked out in her new back to school outfit!  It is so hard to believe how grown up she is getting and of course the Men of the family had to take a picture with her!

What A Way to Start the Month!

2 weeks ago, My Dad, Lyle was riding his "Bike", a 600 cc Honda Scooter, around town. When he pulled up to a light, he went to put his foot down, but his foot was heading for a depressed section of the road and he ended up "dropping" it.  He broke his leg, heel, arch & 4 toes. Luckily, Barbara, My step-mom was with him so that she could get the bike off of him and get help.  He ended up having surgery on Tuesday.  He is finally home & is doing well.  I am crossing my fingers that things will calm down for a bit.

Thanks, Sis!

I just wanted to say Thanks to Lisa for her guest appearance on my blog. Believe me, The feeling is mutual! Thanks to for all the cool & new things you showed me how to add.   You are such a great Sister & Friend!  Love You, Sis!

Guest Author

I'm Lisa, Allison's sister, not by blood, but by choice. She asked for a little help with her blog, so here I am. Let me tell you a few things about Allison. She is the best friend I've ever had. She has stuck by me through thick and thick. I count myself lucky to have her as a friend and a sis. AS much as we get along, you'd think we liked everything the same, HA! I like spicy, she likes sweet. I like Diet Coke with Cherry, she likes it with lime. I like ice cream with strawberries, she chooses death by chocolate. I love scary movies at midnight, she goes to humor me and covers her eyes. She loves romance novels, I read Grisham and Patterson. No matter what we pick or where we go, we always pick opposites.

Oh well, it just doesn't matter, because she's the best person I've had the privilege of knowing. I love you, sis.
